Add the TrueFit BMI Calculator to Your Site

Give your readers a BMI and waist-to-height ratio calculator, including the U.S. Army's 2026 standard, with one copy-and-paste code.

1. See It in Action

This is exactly what your visitors will see. Try it: it works the same on phones and desktops.

2. Copy the Code

Paste this into any page on your site where you can add HTML:

<!-- TrueFit BMI calculator widget -->
<div class="truefitbmi-widget" style="max-width:520px;margin:0 auto;">
  <iframe id="truefitbmi-frame" src="https://www.truefitbmi.com/widget/" title="TrueFit BMI and waist-to-height ratio calculator" width="100%" height="660" style="border:0;display:block;width:100%;" loading="lazy"></iframe>
  <p style="margin:8px 0 0;font:13px/1.4 sans-serif;text-align:center;">Calculator by <a href="https://www.truefitbmi.com/">TrueFit BMI</a></p>
</div>
<script>
window.addEventListener("message",function(e){if(e.origin==="https://www.truefitbmi.com"&&e.data&&e.data.type==="truefitbmi:height"){document.getElementById("truefitbmi-frame").style.height=e.data.height+"px";}});
</script>
  • Metric by default: change the address in the code to https://www.truefitbmi.com/widget/?units=metric. Visitors can still switch units.
  • The last three lines are optional. They let the calculator resize itself to fit. If your site builder removes scripts, the calculator still works at a fixed height.

3. Where to Paste It

SquarespaceAdd a Code block and paste the code.

Menu names can vary between versions of each platform. If you get stuck, contact us and we'll help.

4. What Your Visitors Get

  • BMI with standard adult categories, plus context for muscular builds.
  • Waist-to-height ratio, compared with the 0.50 health guideline and the U.S. Army's 0.55 standard.
  • Inches and pounds or centimeters and kilograms.
  • Privacy: measurements are calculated in the visitor's browser and never sent anywhere. The widget shows no ads and sets no cookies.
  • Automatic updates: if the Army standard or our methodology changes, we update the calculator and every site that uses it gets the update automatically.

5. Terms of Use

The widget is free to use on any website, as long as you:

  • Keep the "Calculator by TrueFit BMI" credit link visible and unchanged.
  • Don't modify the calculator or present its results as your own.
  • Don't present it as an official U.S. Army or Department of Defense tool. TrueFit BMI is independent and not affiliated with either.
  • Don't place it on pages that promote illegal or harmful products.

The calculator is for educational purposes and is not medical advice or an official military assessment. We may update or discontinue the widget at any time. Use is also subject to our Terms of Service.
